Sometimes a WordPress website is the sensible choice: flexible, familiar and easy to manage. Sometimes you need a custom web application to do something more specific. I choose the technology to suit the job. It doesn't need a starring role in the sales pitch.

Are you an agency?
No. I’m an independent web designer and developer. You speak to me, and I design and build the work.
Do I need WordPress or something custom?
That depends on what the site needs to do and how you’ll manage it. WordPress suits plenty of businesses. A custom build makes sense when the requirements call for it. We’ll work that out together.
How much does a website cost?
A business website and a custom platform are different jobs. Once I understand the scope, I’ll give you a fixed price before we start. If there’s a simpler way to get there, I’ll say so.
Can I update the site myself?
If you need to manage your own content, we’ll plan for that. WordPress and other content management options let you make everyday changes without learning to code.
What if my idea is a bit unusual?
Tell me about it. I build custom web apps as well as business websites, so an idea that needs more than pages and a contact form is a useful starting point.
